Winter's little gem Galanthus Nivalis, the common single Snowdrop, but in my opinion definitely not common.
Its a beauty of a plant with its nodding white heads in the middle of winter, they are just glorious!
Flowers around February at a height of approx 15cms and prefers a shadier site. Try planting in swathes for the best affect and team up with other winter bulbs.
Freshly harvested bulbs growing in the green will be supplied from my own woodland garden and not taken from the wild.
