Virginia creeper 'Parthenocissus Quinqufolia' a vigorous large climber perfect for the larger garden. Grown mainly for its fabulous autumn colour when its leaves turn from mid green to the most glorious shades of bronze browns and firey russet reds followed by blue black berries. It can reach a whopping height of 15m if left to do its own thing but it is very easily maintained by pruning. To set its autumn colour off it is best to grow in light dappled shade to shade where it really does come into its own. Looks absolutely stunning when grown hanging from wires. As well as a climber it can also be grown as groundcover to hide unsightly spots and used in woodland areas.
